It is with great sadness that the family of the late Warrick Ivany announce his passing on Thursday, February 21st, 2008 at the J.I O’Connell Centre at the age of 76 years. Leaving to mourn: his wife, Vera; daughters: Deby Pollard (Tony) and Ester Cayer; sons: Robert (Denice) and Ian; six grandchildren: Bobbie Lynn and Dale Pollard, Kimberly and Karen Cayer, Chantel and Alex Ivany; sisters: Tina May Greay and Mabel Kean; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by his son: Ricky; brothers: Walter and Arch Ivany; sister: Frances Webster. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Saturday, 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. from where the funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 24th at 1:00 p.m. Cremation to follow at Humber Valley Crematorium. Interment will take place in St. John’s at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, flowers accepted or donations may be made to the Western Memorial Regional Hospital Auxiliary Fund.
