PICKARD, JESSICA MARGARET - 1993 - 2009 - The unexpected death of Jessica Margaret Pickard, age 15, of Piercemont, NB, the daughter of Sarah (McCarthy) and Edward Pickard, occurred at the Upper River Valley Hospital on Friday, January 30, 2009. Jessica is survived by her siblings, Joahanna (Spence), Julie, Josie, John, Mollie and Keegan. Granddaughter of Margaret and Eugene (deceased) McCarthy, Gerald and Mollie (Colten) (deceased) Pickard, several aunts, uncles and cousins. Jessica was an active member of the River Valley 4-H Club, she was a member of the Carleton North High School Band and Choir, she was a very energetic athlete and enjoyed basketball, soccer and swimming. Jessica was a team member of the Carleton Bantam Girls Mustang Hockey, she loved the outdoors and spending time with friends and family. Resting at St. John the Evangelist Church Johnville, NB, with visitation on Monday, February 2nd from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Mass of the Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 3rd at 11:00 am from the Church, Rev. David Fulton and Rev. Bill Brennan as celebrants. Interment will be in the Johnville Cemetery at a later date. Jessica's vibrant personality will sadly be missed by her family and friends.
