(Trixie) (nee Battcock) R.N. Of Stephenville, N.L. It is with great sadness that the family of the late Beatrice M. (Trixie) Larkin (nee Battcock) (R.N.), announce her passing at her family residence on Saturday, July 26, 2008 at the age of 88 years. She will be sadly missed by her two sons: Shane and Bernard (Judy), both of Stephenville; her three daughters: Elizabeth (Jim) Gallant of Stephenville, Judy (Calvin) Benoit of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Cathy Larkin of Halifax, Nova Scotia, along with her four grandchildren: Steven Benoit, Janine Benoit, Timothy Gallant, Jacqueline Gallant and her two great-grandchildren: Adrienne Benoit, Hunter Benoit and a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence Larkin and her sister, Mary Ellen Battcock. Visitation took place at Russell's Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Drive, Stephenville on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, July 29 at 10 a.m. at St. Stephen's Parish, West Street, Stephenville with interment in the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery, Hansen Highway, Stephenville.
