DICKINSON, LAURA MAE - Laura Mae Dickinson of Carlisle, N.B on Friday, February 13, 2009 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton, N. B at the age of 87. Daughter of the late Elwood & Minnie (Kilbritton) Shorey. She was born at Armond, NB on January 8, 1922. She is predeceased by her husband Phillip Dickinson (1989), Sister-in-law Norma, Sons-in-law George & Keith and Daughters-in-law Margaret & Wendy. Survived by her children: Carol Thomas of Fredericton, NB, Dalton Dickinson (Mary) of Fredericton, NB, Duane Dickinson (Shirley) of Bowmanville, Ont., Brenda Simpson (Robert) of Peterbourgh, Ont., Dwight Dickinson (Ruth) of Fredericton, NB,Clinton Dickinson (Betty Anne) of Sunderland, Ont., Dale Dickinson (Debby) of Hampton, NB, Larry Dickinson (Nancy) of Fredericton, NB, and Bernetta Quigley (Eugene) of Hilden, NS; twenty -two grandchildren & eighteen great-grandchildren; brother Eldon Shorey (Delma) of Riverview, NB & Weldon Shorey of Palm Bay, Florida; nieces and nephews and cousins. Visitation at The Britton Funeral Home, 2 High Street, Hartland, NB on Sunday, February 15, 2009 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Services for Laura Dickinson will be held on Monday, February 16, 2009 at 2:00 p.m from The Lorne Britton Memorial Chapel with Pastor Peter Culberson officiating. Interment will be at the Carlisle Cemetery, New Brunswick in the Spring of 2009. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Carlisle Cemetery would be appreciated by the family.
