It is with great sadness that the family of the late Yves Joseph Lainey announce his passing at Black Duck Brook on Thursday, March 20, 2008 at the age of 40 years. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Melissa in Black Duck Brook, his mother, Theresa in Winterhouses, his seven brothers: Raymond (Mary) in Fox Island River, Roy (Linda) in Stephenville, Hillary (Mona), Joseph, Billy (Theresa) and Patrick Jr. (Lora) all in Winterhouses and Tony (Linda) in Alberta, his eight sisters: Carolyn (Redge) Reeves in Halifax, N.S., Geraldine (Miven) Felix in Dartmouth, N.S., Patsy (Dan) Agnew in Ottawa, Bernice (Ralph) Benoit in Fox Island River, Cathy (Kevin) Woodside and Roxann (Bill) Natte, all in Lower Sackville, N.S., Judy (Norm) Bainbridge, Alberta and Lisa (Dave) Dickson in Toronto, along with a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Patrick Lainey Sr. and his brother Francis. Visitation took place at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, Lourdes on Tuesday evening. Funeral service took place on Wednesday, March 26th. at 10:00 a.m. with interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Winterhouses. Funeral arrangements were under the supervision of Russell’s Funeral Home, Stephenville.
