GAUDET, KAREN LOUISE - The death of Karen Louise Gaudet, loving wife of Aubrey Gaudet, of Rothesay, occurred on Tuesday February 17, 2009 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1954 in Saint John she is the daughter of Inga (Jensen) Dykeman and the late Gilbert Dykeman. Karen worked as a Medical Technologist for the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was an avid reader and book club member. She was a member of the Red Sox Nation, an animal lover; she enjoyed cooking, knitting and sharing a cup of tea with her friends. She will be missed by her dog Willie. Besides her loving husband Aubrey of 30 years, and mother Inga, she is survived by her sons Jonathan Gaudet (Pamela) of Saint John and Nicholas Gaudet of Rothesay; brothers Andrew Dykeman (Kim) and Christian Dykeman both of Saint John; sister Kimberly Richardson (Kevin) of Quispamsis; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father Gilbert Dykeman. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitations on Friday February 20 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday February 21st, 2009 at 11:30 am. Interment will follow in Fernhill Cemetery.
