GOODINE, EUGENE R. - The death of Eugene R. Goodine of Bains Corner, husband of Charlotte (Whitney) Goodine, occurred February 21st, 2009 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. He was a self- employed carpenter and also owned Cross Road Restaurant in Bains Corner. He is survived by his wife, Charlotte; two daughters, Carol Dube (Blaine), Litchfield, New Hampshire and Linda Bowland, Saint John; three sons, Calvin Goodine (Brenda), Milford, NH, Kenneth Goodine, Amherst, NH and Frank Goodine (Janet), Lyndenborough, NH; ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Resting at St. Martins United Church with visitation Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The funeral will be held Thursday at 2pm at St. Martins United Church with Reverand Ian Harrison officiating. Interment in Mosher Hill Cemetery in the spring. Memorials to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated. The arrangements have been entrusted to Reid's Funeral Home, (832-5541), Hampton.
