DUNAWAY, M. AUDREY (LEGERE) - It is with great sadness we announce the death of Audrey (Legere) Dunaway on February 14, 2009, daughter of Sadie and John Legere, wife of Jack Dunaway for 50 years, mother of David. Audrey was born June 28, 1928 and grew up in the south end. She went to St. John the Baptist school, attended and was married in St. John the Baptist Church. She worked in the National Shoe Store and Kennedy's Shoe Store before she married Jack in 1958 and lived in England for three years, moving to Moses Lake, Washington, D.C. then to Portsmouth, N.H., when her husband retired from the airforce. She has one sister-in-law Dorothy Legere, several nieces and a nephew. She was predeceased by her parents and brothers John, Raymond and a sister- in-law Midgie. She will be sadly missed by family and friends. Funeral took place February 19th at 11 a.m. at St. James Church for Mass of Christian Burial. Arrangements by Farrell Funeral Home, Portsmouth, N.H.
