RODGERS, LLOYD E. - The death of Lloyd E. Rodgers of Quispamsis, husband of Irene Rodgers occurred February 25th, 2009 at Dr. V.A Snow Nursing Home, Hampton. He was born in Poodiac, son of the late Samuel and Violet (Parlee) Rodgers. He was a resident of Quispamsis since 1945. In his earlier life he was engaged in farming and lumbering. In later life Lloyd was employed at Saint John Shipbuilding retiring in 1983. He was a member of Industrial Union, Local #3. He is survived by his wife Irene; three sisters, Dorothy Ellis, Saint John, Verna Lackie, Quispamsis, Olive Acker, Saint John; several nieces and nephews. Resting at Reid's Funeral Home (832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, with visitation 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm Thursday. The funeral will be held Friday, 11:00 am at Reid's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.
