JACKSON, CECILIA M. - Cecilia Mary Jackson of Saint John, wife of the late Ronald Jackson, passed away on Friday, February 27th, 2009 at her residence. Born at Saint John on December 5, 1913, she was a daughter of the late William and Della (Pearson) King. Cecilia was a long time member of St. Peter's Parish. She is survived by her children, Marlene Villiacastin (Dr. Sisinio) of Rothesay, Wayne Jackson (Carol) of Saint John, Robert Jackson (Linda) of Saint John, William Jackson (Laurie) of Edmonton, AB, and Peter Jackson of Saint John; two brothers, Joe King (Mary) of Barrie, ON, and Raymond King (Mildred) of Saint John; a sister, Clara King of Barrie, ON; a sister-in-law, Lil King of Saint John; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Cecilia was predeceased by two sons, Eddie and Freddie; a sister, Gladys Blunt; and brothers John and Ernest King. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Sunday from 2 to 4 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 11:00 AM from St. Peter's Church, 50 Clarendon Street. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery at a later date.
