SMITH, EVAN FRASER - The death of Evan Smith of Long Reach, NB, occurred, unexpectedly, as a result of a snowmobile accident, on Saturday, February 28th, 2009, in Hampton, NB, at the age of 23. Born in Saint John, NB, he was the son of Fraser and Noeline (Harris) Smith. Besides his parents, Evan is also survived by two sisters, Shannon Smith-Eckman (Brendon) of Queensland, Australia and Leah Smith (Shane Tremblay) of Long Reach; girlfriend, Jena Olive of Hampton; maternal grandmother, Lena Harris; paternal grandmother, Helen Smith; nephew, Owen; several aunts, uncles and cousins. The funeral service will be held on Friday, March 6th, 2009, at 11:00 AM, from Trinity Anglican Church, Kingston, NB. Burial will take place in St. James Anglican Cemetery, Long Reach, in the spring.
