COMEAU, ROBERT E. - The death of Robert E. Comeau of 33 Charlotte St., husband of the late Marie Dorothy (Barriault) Comeau, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Saturday, February 28th, 2009. Mr. Comeau was born in Bartibog, NB, and had served with the Royal Canadian Army and had been a member of the Royal Canadian Legion. Following his army service, he was employed as a taxi driver and a member of the Corps of Commissionaires. He is survived by one daughter, Theresa Jacobs of Burnaby, BC; three grandchildren, Christopher (Susan) Comeau of Surrey, BC, Terrilane Osborne of Hamilton, Ont, and Rebekah (Vito) Locoante of Burnaby; and two great-grandchildren, Caleb Osborne and Maresa Locoante. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Service will be held in Fitzpatrick's Chapel on Thursday afternoon at two o'clock. Members of the Royal Canadian Legion will hold a memorial service in Wednesday evening at 7:30. www.fitzpatrickfh.com
