HUNTER, LORRAINE HAZEL - 1964 - 2009 - The passing of Lorraine Hazel Hunter of Stickney, NB occurred on Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at her home. Born in Woodstock, NB she was the daughter of Gerald and Muriel (Cluff) Hunter. Lorraine worked as a sales clerk. She also was a nanny to her two nieces , Mary and Emma. The last years of Lorraine's life was spent caring for the elderly. Lorraine was an active member of the Stickney Freewill Baptist Church. For many years, Lorraine was the correspondent for Stickney for the Observer. Lorraine is survived by her loving parents, Gerald and Muriel of Stickney, NB, brother Stephen and sister-in-law, Nancy of Oshawa, ON, sister, Darlene Maddox and brother-in-law, Kevin of Wicklow, NB, brother, Brent and sister-in-law, Julie of Nanoose Bay, BC, one precious nephew, Michael Hunter of London, ON, three loving nieces, Sally Hunter of Victoria, BC, Mary and Emma Maddox both of Fredericton, NB and her best friend, Pearl Ann Bradley of Peel, NB. Visitation will be held at L. R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd., Florenceville, NB on Friday, March 6, 2009 from 6 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held Saturday, March 7, 2009 at 1:00 pm from the funeral home chapel. Rev. Brian Bradley and Pastor Daryl Crain officiating.
