L. PAUL DUCHESNEAU
DUCHESNEAU, L. PAUL - At the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen, NB, March 7th, 2009, L. Paul Duchesneau of Oak Bay, NB passed away peacefully with his family by his side. He was born on July 21st, 1937, the oldest son of the late Leo and Mynia (Young) Duchesneau. Paul served his country in the Canadian Navy from 1956-61. He was also a long time member of the Milltown Legion and of Local 946 Canadian Operating Engineers. He was particularly proud of his contribution to the construction of the Saint John Regional Hospital in the early 1980's. He is survived by his wife, Madelyn (Seamans); his children, Margie (Stephen Smith), Bob (Madeline McDaniels), Bill, Susan (Andy Gallant), and Melissa Kaestner; ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brothers and sisters, Janet (late Jim Ott), Bob (Annette Hawthorne), Pauline (Frank Sadler), and Rose Marie (Larry MacDonald); as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Resting at The S. O Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, NB from where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 11th, 2009 at 2 pm. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 10th, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. For those who wish, donations to the charity of one's choice would be appreciated by the family.
