MAGUIRE, HERMAN IVAN - The death of Herman Ivan Maguire, age 80, husband of Minnie (Slater) Maguire of Sussex, NB, occurred at the Sussex Health Centre, on Thursday, March 12, 2009. He was born in Springfield, NB, on April 29, 1928, the son of the late Reginald and Bertha (Cosman) Maguire. He is survived by his wife; sons John and Patricia of Dartmouth, NS. and Paul and Linda of Sussex; grandchildren Michael, Peter, David, Kimberley and Janet; Aunt Autine Buchanan of Mobile, AL; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by brothers Willard and Guy; sisters Autine, Irene and Elva. He is resting at St. Paul's United Church, Sussex, NB, with visiting on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Monday, March 16, 2009, at 11:00 a.m., from St. Paul's United Church, Sussex, NB. Interment will be in Midland Cemetery in the spring. Donations to the Sussex and Area Community Foundation or the memorial of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
