RIDEOUT, IRMA G.- Irma Gertrude Rideout widow of the late Ralph Rideout, passed away peacefully at the Rocmaura Nursing Home on Monday March 16, 2009. Born 1918 in Meductic, NB to the late Judson and Gertrude (Dow) Hillman. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Irma had worked with the Canadian Red Cross for over 10 years retiring in the early 70's. She was a member of Lancaster Baptist Church and part of the Friends and Fellowship group. Irma is survived by two sons Wayne (Marie) of Hamilton, ON and Beverly (Barbara) of Salisbury, NB; daughters Arlene Fall (Lloyd), Ellen Logan both of Saint John and Myrna Moore of Hamilton, ON; ten grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and friends. Besides her husband Ralph and her parents, Irma was predeceased by brothers Smith and Vernon and sisters Marion Rideout, Thelma Rideout, Glenna Pelkey and Beulah Martin. Arrangements are under the direction of the Fundy Funeral Home 230 Westmorland Rd. (646-2424), visitation will be held on Monday March 23, 2009 from 2 to 4 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel later in the spring, time and date will be announced.
