Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on Monday, July 28, 2008, of Upper Gullies, age 69 years. Retired Member of the Canadian Armed Forces, Founder-President CBS Veterans Memorial Cross Project. Predeceased by his mother Bernice. Leaving to mourn wife Aggie, son Blaine (Cathy); two daughters: Angela Barrett (Jody), Holly and friend Jamie; four grandchildren whom he dearly loved: Rachel, Riley, Merrissa, Robbey; his father Donald; three brothers: Terry (Bonnie), Mike (Lorraine), Bill (Sandy); two sisters: Bernice Attinger (Bob), Regina Dawe (Bill); brothers-in-law: Jim (Eva), Ray and John; sisters-in-law: Linda (Joe), Madonna (Charlie) and Janet; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral service on Thursday, July 31, 2008 at 10 a.m. in St. Peter's Anglican Church, Upper Gullies.
