SIMPSON, ERNEST - Mr. Ernest Simpson of Berwick passed away on March 20, 2009 at the age of 89. He was the son of the late Allen and Mathilda (Rankin) Simpson and was the husband of the late Marjorie O. (Parlee) Simpson who passed away in 2007. Ernest was the last surviving member of his immediate family; he is survived by two daughters: Barbara Elderkin of Sussex, Pauline Sawby and her husband Ken of Saskatchewan; seven grandchildren: 11 great grandchildren: as well as several nieces and nephews. Ernest was predeceased by his daughter, Anita; his sons Allen and Wayne; his sisters: Elizabeth Reidle and Vera M. Long and by his brother, Kenneth. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where visitation will be held on Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm.
