COSMAN, JOAN ELIZABETH ANN - The death of Joan Elizabeth Ann Cosman of Rothesay, NB, wife of Gary Cosman, occurred on Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at Kennebec Manor. Born in Saint John, NB on April 26, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Margaret (Finlay) Thompson. Joan was a member of St. Paul's Anglican Church, Rothesay, the ACW and the Chancel Guild. She had graduated from the Provincial Normal School and had taught school for over 38 years at King Edward School. She was an avid golfer and bridge player. Besides her husband, Gary; she is survived by a cousin, Douglas Finlay (Barb) of Saint John, brothers-in-law; Berton (Shirley) Cosman and Donald (Joanne) Cosman as well as many other cousins and close friends. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Funeral Service will be held from Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, March 28, 2009 at 10 AM. Interment will be in Fernhill Cemetery.
