GILBERT, ROBERT "BOBBY" KING - The death of Robert "Bobby" Gilbert of Public Landing, NB occurred on Friday, April 3, 2009 at his residence. Born in Saint John on December 27, 1957, he was a son of Barbara Ann (McQueen) Richards and the late King Edward Gilbert. Bobby was a Roofing Contractor and was self employed. He is survived by his mother and step-father, Barbara and Stanley Richards of Grand Bay - Westfield, NB; his three children, Jason, Mary and Alysha Gilbert, all three children of Saint John, NB; two brothers, Shawn (Tammy Pye) of Morrisdale, NB and Stephen (Nancy) Gilbert of Edmonton, AB and two step-brothers, Dwight and Jeff Richards; two grandchildren, Jazmin Brown and Jessica Charlton; two nephews, Andrew Paul Kevin Gilbert, Braeden King Gilbert and one niece, Lauren Breeze Gilbert. He was predeceased by his father and a brother, Kevin James Gilbert. Resting at Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John (506) 634-7425 with visiting on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service will be held from Bay View Chapel on Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at 2:00 pm. Pallbearers will be: Arthur Donald, Jimmy Levesque, Darren Levesque, Johnnie Levesque, Mark Worden and Joseph Levesque. Interment will be in Ripples Cemetery at a later date.
