BOWDITCH - Elsie May age 90 years of Swift Current, SK, passed away January 30, 2009, at the Swift Current Care Centre. A Memorial Service will be held at the family grave site in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Swift Current, SK, at a later date. Elsie is survived by a daughter: Evelyn (Elmer) Wagner, Regina, SK; a son Edward (Elsie) Bowditch, Balgonie, SK; a daughter Ella Laughren, Kelowna, BC; grandchildren: Shelley (Blaine), Terry (Gale), Troy (Kim), Jason (Lori), Jody (Kevin), Jamie (Amir); great grandchildren: Dean, Wesley, Devon, Riley, Haley, Cody, Jenna, Colton, Angela; sisters: Beatrice Hunter and Grace Lucas; sisters-in-law Jean Bowditch, Nanette Bowditch and Elsie (Edgar) Garland and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband W.T.J. "Thomas" Bowditch (1958), a son Melvin (1993) and a son-in-law Wayne Toneff (2006). Elsie will be remembered by all for the countless afghans, which she so enjoyed making for her family.
