COLES, SARAH ALICE "SALLY" - Peacefully in Summerside, on April 8, 2009. Beloved wife of the late Laurie A. Coles, she is survived by her children Richard (Margaret Anne), Howard (Sheri), Paula (Douglas MacDonald), Cindy (Bill Walker), Douglas, Shelley (Alec McCarthy), and Alex (Vanessa). She was the cherished 'Sassy' to her grandchildren Sara and Nicola Coles, Meaghan (Michael Sim) and Peter MacDonald, Thomas (Valerie Gapp), Michael and David Walker, Benjamin, Hannah and Elliott Coles, Michael and Robert Podborski and Conner and Madison Coles; special 'Sassy the Great' to her only great-grandchild Avery Sim. Born in Summerside, Sally was the daughter of the late Harold B. and Leila Schurman and leaves her two brothers, Maynard F. (Joanne) and Michael S. (Patricia) Schurman. She was predeceased by her sister Paula Schurman Richardson. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at St. Mary's Anglican Church, Summer Street, Summerside, on Saturday, April 11, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. Flowers gratefully declined. For those who so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Prince County Hospital Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of PEI.
