SPLANE, MARY MARGARET - The death of Mary Margaret (Beale) Splane, formerly of Lorneville wife of the late Robert Splane and the late Roy Beal occurred on Friday, April 10th, 2009 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on March 25th, 1909 she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Agnes (Kerrigan) Shannon. Mrs. Splane lived all of her life in Saint John and was a member of the Lorneville 55 and Over Club, as well as a member of the Saint John West Liberal Association and a member of St. Rose of Lima CWL. Margaret is survived by two sons; Douglas (Doreen) Beale and Raymond (Emma) Beale of Saint John West, two daughters; Marcella Osborne and Sandra (Pascal) Thebeau of Saint John, one step-son Robert Splane, one step-daughter Shirley (Ralph) Wilson, one brother Edward Shannon, ten grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and several step grandchildren several step-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her infant daughter Josephine Beal, eleven siblings, two sons-in-law one step son-in-law, one step daughter-in-law. Resting at Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John West (634-1701). Visiting on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church on Wednesday at 10 am. Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Following the interment, a time of fellowship will take place at the Fallsview Family Reception Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mrs. Splane to the Food Bank of the donor's choice, Hestia House Inc., or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by her family.
