MADELINE M. MACDONALD

MACDONALD, MADELINE M. - The death of Madeline M. MacDonald of Clifton Royal, widow of Douglas MacDonald occurred April 13, 2009 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was born in Saint John, daughter of the late Peter and Mabel (Levigne) Morneau. Madeline was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary, Peninsula Branch 62, Royal Canadian Legion. She enjoyed watching wildlife in her backyard. She is survived by five sons, Douglas (Linda), Clifton Royal, Russell (Nancy), Quispamsis, David (Fran), Saint John, Billy (Kym), Saint John, and Tony, Clifton Royal; one daughter, Patsy Ward (Peter), Bon Accord, AB; one brother, David Morneau (Betty), ON; three sisters, Viola Paquet (Leo), Montreal, Shirley Morrison, Oromocto, Jean Stackhouse, AB; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by five brothers, Ervin, Aurel, Randolph, Gerald, Peter and three sisters, Carman, Marie and Theresa. There will be no visitation by request. A private graveside service will be held at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Saint John. Memorials to the Cancer Society, Diabetes Association or a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
