DUGAS, MARIE B. - Marie B. Dugas, widow of the late Allard Dugas passed away at the Kingsway Care Center surrounded by her loving family on April 23rd, 2009. Born in Port Elgin to the late James and Sarah (Forest) Devarenne. Marie was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She leaves behind two sons, Thomas Dugas (Genevieve) and Rheal Dugas (Tina) both of Saint John; one daughter, Jeannine Cormier (Fred) of Port Elgin; seven grandchildren Susan, Lorie, Marc, Joseph, Amanda, Josh and Shayne; eight great-grandchildren Sarah, Brittney, Sam, Matthew, Bailey, Macalya, Holly and Emma; one great-great-granddaughter Kaylie; one step granddaughter Heather and two step-greatgrandaughters Cheryl and Vanessa; several nieces, nephew and friends. Besides her parents and husband Marie was predeceased by her sister Lorraine Knowles and four brothers Edward, Leo, Albert and Dismas. Marie was a resident of Kings Way Care center for the past year, she enjoyed Bingo, KFC, Hockey and Baseball, Holidays she especially loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend. Marie will be missed by all who knew her. Resting at the Fundy Funeral Home 230 Westmorland Rd. (646-2424) with visitation on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, April 25th, 2009 at 10:00 am.
