LOCKHART, PETER - It is with great sadness the family of Peter N. Lockhart, devoted husband of Barbara (O'Brien) Lockhart of Quispamsis announce his death which occurred on April 28, 2009 at the Saint John Regional Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Born 1957 in Saint John to Howard and Jean (O'Connell) Lockhart of Quispamsis. Peter was a devoted and loving son, husband, father, brother and friend. He enjoyed life to the fullest. He will be sadly missed and always remembered. Besides his parents and his wife Barbara of 29 years, Peter is survived by his children Melissa (Scott Leslie) of Deer Island, Ryan (Meaghan Holland) and Cody both of Quispamsis; brothers Douglas (Pamela) of Gondola Point and John (Pamela) of Minto; sisters Paula Gillis of Saint John, Sandra McSweeney (Micheal) of Hampton, Virginia and Susan (Nick Balemans) of Quispamsis; mother and father-in-law Esther and Douglas O'Brien, Sr. of Renforth; brothers and sisters-in-law; several nieces, nephews and many friends. Peter was predeceased by brother James Lockhart, niece Stephanie McSweeney and two brothers-in-law Warren Gillis and Douglas O'Brien, Jr. Resting at the Fundy Funeral Home 230 Westmorland Rd. (646-2424) with visitation on Thursday and Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 31 Gondola Point Rd, Rothesay; on Saturday May 2nd, 2009 at 1:00 p.m,.
