BROWN, F. B. (PEGGY) - The death of Peggy Brown wife of the late Charles Brown, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on April 28. Born in Saint John West on Oct. 4, 1921, Peggy was the daughter of the late Frank and Alice Swain (Carson). Peggy was a charter member of the Wm MacIntosh Chapter of the IODE, past president and member of the Carleton Curling Ladies Assoc. and former member of Westfield Golf and County Club. She also enjoyed many wonderful summers at Epworth Park and traveling. Peggy is survived by daughter Sue, Saint John, son Phillip (Christin), grandson, Armstrong and granddaughters, Elizabeth and Aldrin all of Toronto; her sisters, Katherine Powell and Frances Urquhart, nieces, nephews, cousins as well as her beloved Rosie. She was predeceased by her son Christopher, brothers Ted and Frank and sisters Margaret Swain and Helen Boone. At her request there will be no visitation. A celebration of Peggy's life will be held on May 2nd at 2:00pm at St. Jude's Church. Reception to follow at Fallsview Community Centre. In lieu of flowers Peggy requested that donations be made to the Saint John Animal Rescue League, the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Arrangements are under the care of Castle Fallsview (506-634-1701).
