JACKSON, DONALD GEORGE - loving spouse of Lori Dickison passed away on Tuesday May 5, 2009 at the Saint John Regional Hospital, surrounded by his family. Born 1950 in Saint John he is the son of Ray and Helen (Durley) Pettigrew. Donald was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting. He had worked as a Welder for the Saint John Dry Dock, Lens crafter and as a Home Care Worker for ComCare for the last few years. He will be sadly missed and always remembered by his family. Besides his parents and loving spouse and best friend Lori, he is survived by his children Peter Jackson, Andrew Jackson-Dickison (Shannon) and Brandon Jackson-Dickison and Ann Marie Jackson all of Saint John; one grand son Joseph McGaghey; sisters Hannah Tayes (Arnold) of Bloomfield and Bonnie Travis (Taze Down) of Sussex; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, and many friends. He was predeceased by his brother Ronald Jackson and granddaughter Samantha McGaghey-Jackson. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitations on Thursday May 7/09 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Friday May 8, 2009 at 10a.m. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
