IRVINE WELDON CLARK

CLARK, IRVINE WELDON - Irvine W. Clark formerly of Nackawic passed away May 7, 2009 at Saint John Regional Hospital at the age of 74. Born at Campbell Settlement, York Co., NB in 1934, he was a son of the late Harold W. and Phyllis (Bates) Clark. Irvine was a truck driver before being employed by the Town of Nackawic as a heavy equipment operator for 17 immensely enjoyable years. He was known for his love of Country Music. His wife Joan and children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were the love of his life. Irvine is survived by his wife, Joan (Hegan) Clark; a daughter, Jackie Sharp (Dennis), Upper Queensbury; two sons, Robert Clark, Toronto, ON and Kent Clark (Anna), Maple, ON; his grandchildren, Alicia Sharp, Upper Queensbury, Francesco Destefano and Sara Clark, Maple, ON, Leanne Schmidt (Matthias), Aurora, ON, Michelle Fox (Matt), Kingston, ON and Jeremy Sharp (Krissy), Upper Kingsclear; great grandchildren, Kai and Anya, Jackson and Josie, Sydney and Carson; four sisters, Joyce Jones (Ronald), McKellar, ON, Helen Simonds (Reginald), Northampton, June Price (Dave Vance), Prince William and Linda DesRoches, Southampton; three brothers, Fred Clark (Eunice), Campbell Settlement, Paul Clark (Nancy), Southampton and Gerald Clark (Lynda), Temperance Vale; his step-mother, Marion Clark- MacFarlane, Southampton; several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, Irvine was predeceased by a son, Larry Clark in 1982 and two brothers-in-law, Fred Price and Owen DesRoches. Visiting hours will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the funeral home chapel on Saturday, May 9, 2009 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Conrad Brewer officiating. Interment in Otis Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be Tony Guerrera, Arnold Pickard, Lorne Cole, Wayne Porter and Floyd Stairs. Active pallbearers will be nephews, Timmy DesRoches, Derek Clark, Toby Clark, Jeff Clark, Freddy Price and Timmy Clark.
