NORTHRUP, ERNEST "ERN" - Mr. Ernest "Ern" Northrup of Long Creek passed away quietly at the Sussex Health Centre on May 7, 2009 at the age of 92. Ernest was the son of the late George and MaryAnne (James) Northrup. He is survived by his wife Flora (Boyd), two daughters: Sandra Hemming (Brian) of Toronto, Carol Price (Rev. Harold Price) of Woodstock; two sons: George Northrup (Susan) and Bill Northrup (Patricia) all of Cody's; his brother-in-law, Jean Gilbert of Willowdale, Ontario; eight grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. Ern is predeceased by: his step father Clarence Phinney, his daughter Betty Ann and her husband Frank Whelton, three sisters: Connie Calvin, Beatrice Brown and June Gilbert; and his son-in-law Norman Baird. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176).
