MARJORIE MAY( MAXWELL) BROWN

BROWN, MARJORIE MAY( MAXWELL) - At Lincourt Manor, St. Stephen, NB, May 17, 2009, Marjorie May (Maxwell) Brown passed away after a lengthy illness. Marjorie was born on September 19, 1909 at Moores Mills, Charlotte County, NB. She was the daughter of the late Harris Isaac and Hattie Hutton (Berry) Maxwell of St. Stephen, NB She is survived by two daughters, Bernice Kahabka (Thomas) of New Orleans, LA., and Shirley Schumitz (Fred) of Oxford CT, grandchildren, Larry Schumitz (Margaret) of Boise, Idaho, Glen Schumitz (Joan) of Oxford, CT and Lynn Grasso (John) of Orange CT. , great grandchildren, Matthew Schumitz of Milford Ct, Lars Schmuitz of Boise, Idaho, Jake and Benjamin Grasso of Orange Ct., Jennifer and Kevin Schumitz of Oxford CT., nieces Marguerite (Cameron) Giddens of Tower Hill, NB and Jeanne (Allen) Williams of Sackville, NB, nephew, Sheridan Brown (Joanne) of Oak Bay, NB and several other nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Douglas Brown, a son, Douglas Maxwell Brown, sisters, Villa Dobie and Annie Stuart and a grandchild C. Thomas Kahabka III. Marjorie was a faithful member of Kirk McColl United Church. She will be remembered by family and friends as a loving wife, mother, a homemaker and a loyal friend to many. Her family wishes to thank Lincourt Manor Administrator, Jane Lyons and her nursing staff and volunteers for their tireless and loving care during Marjorie's residence. A special thank you to Tim Eagan, who has been a faithful friend over several years, whose kindness can never be repaid. A memorial service will be held at a later date to be announced.
