MCCULLOUGH, GEORGE "WAYNE" - Unexpectedly at the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen NB on May 20, 2009, Mr. George "Wayne" McCullough, husband of Mrs. Audrey (Tatton) McCullough of St. Andrews NB. Born at St. Stephen NB on September 29, 1945 he was a son of Everett L. McCullough and the late Eleanor "Ning" (Pelton) McCullough. A loving husband, son, father, grandfather and brother, in addition to his wife Audrey, he is survived by his father, Everett of St. Andrews, sons; Ronald, Sterling and George, daughters; Charlene and Robyn, chosen children; Debbie, Phillip, Carol and Dale, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers; Lorne, Gregory and Timothy Everett and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his daughter, Judy he was predeceased by his mother Ning, and by one brother, Everett. Wayne was employed for the past six years with Border Security, St. Stephen NB and prior to that with the Town of St. Andrews for a number of years and was a former member of the St. Andrews Fire Department. Wayne loved the outdoors and was an avid golfer and a member of the St. Stephen Golf Club. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and was an avid sportsfan, especially hockey. One of his favorite pastimes was working outside around his home when the weather was nice. Friends are welcome for a time of visitation at the St. George Funeral Home & Crematorium (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB on Saturday from 2 until 4 pm. A time of remembrance will be held at the Bocabec Community Cemetery on Sunday at 3:30 pm. In keeping with Wayne's wishes donations to the Children's Wish Foundation and the IWK, Halifax NS are preferred rather then flowers. (www.stgeorgefh.ca)
