WRIGHT, VERNON G. - The death of Mr. Vernon G. Wright, husband of E. Maxine (McMaster) (Trenholm) Wright of Saint John West occurred on May 23, 2009, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Temple, N.B., he was the son of the late George and Jennie (Fox) Wright. Mr. Wright worked for several years with D'Arcy Welding Co. before being employed at Moosehead Breweries from where he retired after 23 years in 1987. He enjoyed traveling and sports, particularly skiing, and in later years became an enthusiastic golfer. He and his wife spent the summers in Waterford, N.B. and were members of the Sussex Golf and Curling Club. In addition to his wife Maxine, he is survived by one step-daughter Stephanie (Michel) Lefebvre of Baudreuil, PQ, one step-son J. Kirk (Heather) Trenholm of Saint John, Kelsie McCaughey of Stratford, PEI, three sisters Mavis Minard of Grafton, NB, Marjorie Stairs of Fredericton, NB and Greta Gilks of Saint John, and his twin brother Vincent Wright of Meductic, NB as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister Margaret Flewelling in 1994 and a brother Gerald in 2001. Resting at Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John West (634-1701). Visiting on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral service will take place on Tuesday at 1:00 from Fallsview Chapel. Interment will take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery.
