MAGILL, DONALD DAVIES - After years of failing health, Donny passed away on May 27th, 2009 in Boiestown, NB. Born in Zweibrucken, Germany on February 1st, 1956, he was the son of the late Joan (McFarlane) Hebert and William Magill Sr. Don is survived by his wife, Colombe Poirier, his brothers, Bill (Diane), of St. Thomas, Ontario and Ian (Ann), of Russell, Ontario, his sister, Allyson (Denis), of Saint John, NB, several cousins, nieces and nephews. Don worked for NB Power until his retirement in 2003. He loved the outdoors, biking, fishing and hunting. He leaves behind his 2 faithful companions, Ice and Buddy. Resting at Castle Funeral Home, "Fallsview Chapel", 309 Lancaster Ave., Saint John West (634-1701), visitation will take place on Sunday, May 31st, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 1st, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. from Castle Funeral Home. Interment will take place at a later date. Donations, in memory of Don, may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or a charity of the donor's choice.
