BRANSCOMBE, WILLARD AVARD - Surrounded by his family the passing of Willard Branscombe, husband of the late Margaret (Ganong) Branscombe, occurred at the Bayview Special Care Home in Kars, NB on Friday, May 29, 2009. He was born on March 10, 1924 in Revere Beach, MA, to the late Harold and Margaret (Long) Branscombe. Willard worked at Downey Ford as a Used Car Manager until his retirement in 1989. He is survived by his two children: Walter Branscombe (Helen) of Long Point, NB and Lynne Burnett (Terry) of Sussex Corner, NB; three grand daughters: Trisha Janssen (Rob), Shauna MacLeod (Dave) and Angela Branscombe; three great grandchildren: Bradley, Allison and Olivia; half sister Judith Field of Alban, ME; sister in-law, Helen Boyd (Lee); brother in-law, Arlie Ganong and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Besides his wife and parents, Willard was predeceased by a half brother David Branscombe. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, (634-7424) with visiting on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held from Brenan's Chapel on Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at 1pm. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
