WALSH, THOMAS (BATMAN)- With profound sadness the family of Tom Walsh (Batman) wishes to announce his passing at home surrounded by his family. Born July 3, 1949 to the late Harry McVicar Walsh and Margaret Constance (Driscoll). Tom worked at the Saint John Dry Dock and the Port of Saint John. Tom's main joys in life were fishing, hunting, pool and playing texas holdem. Tom was survived by sisters Mary (Gordy) Hovey, Betty Lou Walsh (Michael) Brown, Theresa (Donald) Brewer, Helen Walsh (Ed Kane); brothers Daniel (Holly), Patrick, Peter (Linda), Paul and brother-in-law Michael Weaver; along with one Aunt Catherine Burhoe and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friend Phyllis Campbell. Predeceased by brothers Harry, Frankie, and sister Margaret Weaver. Following cremation with visitation at Castle's Funeral Home (Fallsview Chapel) 309 Lancaster Avenue, Wednesday, June 10, from 7pm to 9pm. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Assumption Church, Dufferin Row, Thursday, June 11 at 12 noon.
