HARRIS, BEATRICE LILLIAN (FAIRWEATHER) (KIERSTEAD) - of Vespra, NB passed away at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on June 18, 2009 at the age of 79. Beatrice is survived by her husband Guy Harris, seven daughters; Judy Jones, Connie Newman-Jones, Amber Kierstead, Mavis Miller, Sharon McCumber, Karen Morton, Dawn Kierstead, two sons; Gerald and David Kierstead, one sister Leda Welton and three Step sisters Mildred Ivan, Anna Northrup and Ruth Brown, three brothers; Norman, Ira and Floyd Fairweather. Along with her stepfather Ted Brown, two step daughters Valerie Nash and Rita Stairs and three step sons Jarvis , Alfred and Wayne Harris, 11 grandchildren, five great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. Beatrice was a homemaker to her family and was a member of Branch #74 Legion, Chipman, NB and the Minto Seniors Club. She is predeceased by her parents Lillian (Clark) and Otty Fairweather, by her first husband Elmer Kierstead, three grandsons, one great granddaughter and one son-in-law. Relatives and friends are invited to Sunbury Funeral Home Friday June 19, 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm for visitations. Funeral service will be from Sunbury Funeral Home on Saturday June 20, 2009 at 2:00 pm with the Reverend James Harrison officiating.
