Berridge, Dorothy Margaret (Birchard)

At the age of 95 years Dorothy passed away peacefully in her home on February 9, 2009. Predeceased by her husbands Allen Birchard in 1971 and Arthur Berridge in 1981. Survived by her daughter, Darlene Lewis (Bernie) and her son Dale Birchard (Joy), her grandchildren Joe, Terry, Tod, Alana, Dale Jr., Veeda and 9 great-grandchildren; sister Tye (Stan) Grayson; brother Roy Sullivan.

Dorothy was born in Expanse Saskatchewan in 1913, and resided in Prince George, Parksville, Nanaimo, and Victoria. She always took pride in her home and family.

Special thanks to her granddaughters Alana Mayzes & Heather Butler for bringing so much joy and happiness to Dorothy over the past year. The family also wishes to thank Victoria Hospice and the caregivers of Beacon Home Support for their compassionate services. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2009 @ 11:00 a.m. at Sands Funeral Chapels, 1803 Quadra Street, Victoria, BC. Reception to follow in the Arbor Reception Centre.
