MORRELL, DONALD WILLIAM - April 16, 1936 - June 24, 2009 - The passing of Donald Morrell of Morrell Siding, NB occurred on June 24, 2009 by accident in Morrell Siding at the age of 73. Born in Morrell, NB on April 16, 1936, he was the son of the late Raymond and Geneva (Downing) Morrell. Don worked for 40 yrs for CP Rail retiring in 1996 as a Locomotive Engineer. Don leaves behind his sister Beatrice (Milford) McLaughlin of Morrell Siding, brother Carl (Greta) Morrell of Aroostook, sister Ruth (Victor) Everett of Aroostook, brother Wayne (Doris) Morrell of Montreal, sister Shirley (Gary) Price of Morrell Siding. Several nieces and nephews. Don loved spending time at his cottage on the Tobique. Resting at White's Funeral Home, Perth-Andover with visiting hours on Friday June 26th from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Saturday June 27th at 11 am from Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, Aroostook with Father Gilbert Doddatto as Celebrant. Interment in the adjoining cemetery . Memorial donations to the NB Heart & Stroke Foundation or Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery Fund would be appreciated by the family.
