GAGNON, BERTRAND M. - At the Grand Falls General Hospital, June 26, 2009, Mr. Bertrand M. Gagnon of California Settlement passed away at the age of 69 years. He was the husband of Marie Ghislaine (Ruest) Gagnon. Born at Sainte-Anne-de-Madawaska in 1939, he was a son of the late Maxime and Alida Gagnon. Besides his wife, he is survived by six children, Karlanna Gagnon (Roger Logan) and Stephane Bergeron of Saint John, Sylvain Bergeron (Elisabeth Klassen) of London, Ontario, Jean-Marie Gagnon (Pauline) of Charlottetown, PEI, Marie-Rose Gagnon and Jeannot Gagnon of California Settlement; eleven grandchildren; six sisters, Evelyn Thibodeau of Caribou, ME, Eglantine Randall of Fort Fairfield, ME, Georgette Langlais (Hermel) of Upper Kent, Simone Black (Leonard) of Windsor, ON, Lorraine Randall (Pete) of Mass, Suzanne Theriault (Roger) of Mississauga, ON, three brothers, Theo (Beatrice) of Sisson Ridge, Romeo (Marianne) of Blue Bell and Mario (Sylvia) of Grand Falls, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a granddaughter, Amy, two brothers, Rene and Robert and a sister, Jeannine Martin. Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:30 - 11 a.m. His funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 30th at 11 a.m. from the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, Grand Falls, with interment in the Assumption Cemetery.
