She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Ronald Earle McCullum and her five children; Paula Anne Darling (Charles) of Lakeworth, Florida, Ronald William (Tim) McCullum (Joanie) of Quispamsis, Perry McCullum (Ray) of Saint John, Dana Guy McCullum (Marjorie) of Kingston Peninsula, Myles Andrew McCullum (Sarah) of Saint John. Helen was inducted to The Saint John Sports Hall of Fame as a member of the 1964 Saint John Alpines Basketball Team, where they won 10 New Brunswick Championships, two Maritime Championships, three Eastern Canadian Crowns and three National Championships. She was a proud longstanding member of Westfield Golf and Country Club and participated in several provincial and senior championships and many Friday afternoon challenges with her closest friends. Golf was her passion; she loved the competition and loved the challenge even more. She made many friends here and around the world playing and touching the hearts of everyone she met. Helen retired from the Delta New Brunswick Hotel in 1998, and from then on was always busy. She loved her golf gals, her bridge games and her Sunday afternoon pals. She loved to entertain, the more the merrier and was always happy with a crowd of friends and family around her. She lived life to the fullest. Helen warmed the hearts of many especially her dear husband Ron, two peas in a pod, they were always together. Cheers. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by Mrs. John MacTavish (Mona), John Allan Porter, William Henry Porter, Mrs. Harold Tobias (Josie) and Clair Howard Porter.
