SMITH, JENNIE MATILDA (FORGRAVE) - The death of Jennie Matilda (Forgrave) Smith occurred at her residence in Lower Millstream, NB on Wednesday, July 1st, 2009. She was born in Southfield, NB, on January 11th, 1926, the daughter of the late Robert and Elvida (Ross) Forgrave. Jennie is survived by her companion Gordon Smith; sister Irma Burnside of Nauwigewauk; brothers Allen and Mabel Forgrave of Lower Millstream and Otty and Sandra Forgrave of Southfield; sisters-in-law Marjorie Forgrave and Evelyn Forgrave both of Belleisle; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Isaac E. Smith; infant sister Charlotte; brothers Thomas and Nelson; cousin Gordon Ross. Resting at Sherwood's Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (839-2156), 18 Scovil Road Norton, NB, with visiting on Saturday from 3 to 8 pm. Funeral service will be held from Sherwood's Chapel on Sunday, July 5th, 2009, at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow in Riverbank Cemetery.
