DAIGLE, KATHLEEN A. - It is with profound sadness that I announce the sudden passing of my mother and best friend, Kathy Daigle on Friday, July 3rd, 2009. Born in Saint John, NB, on July 19th, 1945, she was a daughter of the late John and Kathleen Stilwell. Mom was an RN for 28 years working at the Saint John General Hospital. After an early retirement in 1993 from the Saint John Regional Hospital, mom continued to work at many different Seniors Homes around the city just to keep busy. She is survived by her two children, daughter, Lenna (Gordon) Rackley of Hampton, NB and son Tommy (Sandy) Pitre of Nanaimo, BC; four grandchildren who were her pride and joy and loved dearly, Catlin Rackley, Arin Rackley and Ashley Rackley all in Hampton, NB, and the newest sparkle in her eyes, Riley Pitre of Nanaimo, BC, even though she did not get a chance to meet you Riley, she loved you very much; and several nieces and nephews. Mom is the last surviving member of her family. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by one brother, John Stilwell; four sisters, Hazel Yeo, Marg MacKenzie, Dorothy McHarg and Lois Adams, and her Daddy O, brother-in-law John Yeo, March 2009. Heaven will never be the same now that mom and Hazel are back together, look out John, you have your hands full again. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (634-7424) with visiting on Monday, July 6th, 2009 from 7 to 9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 7th, 2009 from Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel at 2:30 pm. Interment will take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery.
