LAURI, JAAKKO OSKARI - The death of Jaakko Oskari Lauri occurred in Saint John on Saturday, July 4, 2009. Born 1940, he was the son of the late Oskar and Helena Lauri. He is survived by his wife Sharon (Garnett) Lauri; one step-son Chris Garnett (Dorothy Murphy) of Saint John; grandson Brian Garnett and father-in-law Lesley Garnett. Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Rd. (646-2424). Following cremation a memorial service will be held at Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday July 9, 2009 at 11 a.m. Donations may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
