At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Wednesday, February 11, 2009, of Florence Docherty (nee MacKinnon), Charlottetown, age 81 years. Dear mother of Miriam Dunne (Ben), Louie Docherty and Gwen Livingston (David). Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Karen Amy, Cassandra and Kately. Sister of Velda Gass. Predeceased by her husband, Birt Docherty; by her brothers, Lloyd MacKinnon, Berton MacKinnon, Henry MacKinnon, Louis MacKinnon; and by her sister, Irma Cudmore. Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home from where the memorial service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Interment later in Argyle Shore Cemetery. No visitation by personal request. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
