O'HEARN, BRIAN - Brian O'Hearn of Dipper Harbour devoted husband of Terry O'Hearn passed away July 8th, 2009 at the Saint John Regional Hospital surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Tracadie in 1960. He grew up in Pokeshaw and later moved to the city. Brian worked for Lantic Sugar for over 18 years. For the past 9 years he worked for School District #8, driving bus104. Devoted husband, son, father, brother, uncle and friend. Besides his wife Terry, Brian is survived by his two sons Mike of Saint John and Luke of Hornby Island, BC; one precious grandson Orland; his father and step-mother Manford and Irene of Pokeshaw; siblings Joe, Betty Ann, Denis, Ron, Rick and Tony; step siblings Real, Marcel, Marie Therese and Paul; several nieces, nephews and many friends. Brian was predeceased by his mother Annette and his brother Roy. Memorial service will be held at Hillcrest Baptist Church, 476 Lancaster Ave. West Saint John, on Saturday July 11, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. Private family interment to take place at Ocean View Memorial Gardens at a later date.
