BENOIT, ALBERT A. - Albert Benoit, husband of Laure (Arseneau) passed away peacefully at St. Joseph's Hospital on July 9th, 2009. Albert was the son of Albert S. Benoit and Marie (Thomas). Born and raised in Tracadie, NB, he moved to Saint John in 1961 where he enjoyed a career with Irving Oil Limited until his retirement in 1998. Albert was an active member of St. Anne's Church and enjoyed being a member of the Knights of Columbus. Besides his wife Laure, Albert is survived by his daughter Bernadette Comeau (Gildas) of Val- Comeau, his son Roger Benoit (Joan) of Saint John and his son Michael Benoit (Heather) of Grand Bay-Westfield. Albert is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will miss their Pepere very much.
