MANZER, RILLIA - 1909-2009 - Rillia Manzer of Hillandale passed away peacefully on her 100th birthday at Hotel Dieu of St. Joseph Hospital on July 15, 2009 in the presence of her family. Rillia was born in Glassville, NB on July 15, 1909 and was the daughter of the late Ralph and Cecelia (Freeman) Gregory. She is survived by her daughters Marion Nicol and Emily Manzer, both of Hillandale, Joyce Cumming (Stuart) of Easton, Maine; her son Ralph Manzer (Marianne) of Fredericton; seven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents; a sister Riverta Gregory; brothers Ray and Ralph Gregory; and an infant daughter. Rillia was a homemaker. She loved her family and delighted in caring for them. She was a longtime member of the Wesleyan Church. She taught Sunday School for many years and took an active part in the activities of the church. She loved her Lord and shared her faith with those with whom she came in contact. Resting at Brunswick Funeral Home with visitation on Friday from 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2009 at 2 pm from the Perth-Andover Wesleyan Church. Rev. Reginald Thomas officiating.
