RYAN, WALTER - Mr. Walter Ryan of Leesburg, Florida passed away on March 4, 2009 at the age of 79. Born in Sussex on July 30, 1929, he was the son of the late Thomas and Margaret (Purtill) Ryan. Walter is survived by his wife Aurora "Ora", his sons: Dana "Francis" of Rhode Island and Thomas of London, England; his daughter, Debbey Ryan of Florida; three sisters: Rita Proctor of Sussex, Kathleen Harrington of Moncton, Lois McHugh of Saint John and Irma Gillespie of Moncton; two brothers: Jim Ryan (Eileen) of Sussex, George Ryan (Rose) of Saint John; three grandchildren, three great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where visitation will be held on July 30th from 6-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Francis Xavier RC Church on Friday, July 31, 2009 at 10:00 am, followed by a time of fellowship with the family in the Church Hall.
