DESCHENES, LEO - Mr. Léo Deschênes, 83, of Four Falls passed away peacefully August 12th, 2009 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of the former Ella Lizotte. Born at Grand Falls in 1926, he was a son of the late Alfred and Catherine (Sirois) Deschênes. Besides his wife, he is survived by four sons, Rino and Maurice (Lisa) of Four Falls, Donald (Monique) of Drummond and Robert (Kelly) of Arthurette, two daughters, Linda Hall (Ralph) of Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania and Rita Wright (Brian Ouellette) of Four Falls, 16 grandchildren, two sisters, Elizabeth Gould of Toronto and Freda Conway of Niagara Falls, Ontario, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Eddy and two sisters, Rose Gagnon and Ida Theriault. Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 am. His funeral service will be held Saturday, August 15th at 11 am from St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, Grand Falls (Portage) with interment in the Assumption Cemetery, Grand Falls.
